PETA's Sexy Go Veg Superbowl 2011 Ad Banned Again
There used to be a threat about PETA commercials. (Maybe it should be reposted!!! Hint! Hint!) Anyways, this is one of their newest ad campaigns. Although they're a bunch of freaks who take their cause way too far, I must say that I do enjoy their commercials!!! (Or at least the ones that feature scantily clad and attractive females.)

Advocacy Group Decries PETA's Inhumane Treatment Of Women
Seriously, I have absolutely no problem with nudity or pornography, but this is a funny mock news report! On the other hand, there's no doubt that PETA is an appropriate object of derision!

I wouldn't mind spending some time talking to this woman about just about anything. If she utilized her full persuasive powers she might even get me to go vegetarian!!! :dizzy:

PETA Protests Mike Tyson Pigeon Show
Pigeon racing? I wonder if the loser gets barbecued?
PETA, the animal rights activist group, is now going ape over Mike Tyson's new TV show where he attempts to fly to the heights of the pigeon racing world. The new series, "Taking on Tyson," which debuted Sunday on Animal Planet, follows Iron Mike around as he immerses himself in the world of pigeon racing. But PETA members think the series is a birdbrained idea and protested Monday outside of his Las Vegas home.

Rattlesnake Roundup- Barbaric or Texas Tradition?
This will probably piss off the morons from PETA. I'm just not seeing a problem with this kind of activity. These people should be praised for their ingenuity and the way they turn work into an excuse for a festival.

PETA vs Sweetwater Texas PETA says "it's about money and tradition" if this is true I give this on to PETA.
Sweetwater "Says its about safety " if this is true then I'm with Sweetwater.
The way to tell if nature is out of balance here is in the rodent population. If they have a more then health rodent population of might not be enough snakes and coyotes.
If they have too many rodents then they can skip a year and have a "Rodent Roast" YUMMMMMMMM-MY w/BBQ sauce

I don't give a darn what PETA says. They're all about misinformation and propaganda. They just want to force everyone to conduct themselves according to PETA's rules. If the people of Texas want to round up rattlesnakes and BBQ them, more power to them! As long as they're not conducting their round ups in wilderness areas, I don't see the problem. From the news report I got the impression that rattlesnakes were being rounded up primarily in the vicinity of populated areas. It sounds like rattlesnakes are quite common in the Sweetwater area and that they are a bit of a menace. As for the population dynamics argument involving rodents, there is something to that, but that's a matter for the people of Texas to worry about, not PETA!!!

Can eating dogs be done humanely?
Dogs: Good for more than just fetching a ball!
Animals Asia Foundation, an animal welfare group based in Asia, also chimed in via email with a response. In comments attributed to founder and CEO Dr. Jill Robinson, the group focused on how cruelly dogs are treated before they are slaughtered, as well as how inhumanely the slaughter itself is carried out.
