'Come over, I'm naked in bed': Tech guru accidentally broadcasts explicit sex chat with his boss to massive online audience
Phrases such as "Don't put your meat where you earn your bread" or "Don't dip your pen in the company ink" come to mind, but other than that this is pretty much not anything that's even close to newsworthy although it is worth a chuckle or two.
When you are confident enough in your abilities to give yourself a title like The Tech Guy, you'd better be sure that you can live up to it. A tech expert recently aired a spicy conversation between him and his female boss, making millions of viewers privy to an intimate conversation between he and his lover, according to a report from Gawker. The conversation that flashed up momentarily on screen starts with Leo Laporte telling lover Lisa Kentzell: 'Come over, I'm naked in bed. Waiting for you. The door is open.' She replies: 'I love you'.

McDonald's Twitter Campaign Backfires
This belongs in the WHAT WERE THEY THINKING category! Most people are not going to have anything positive to share. It's the bad things that people remember (and that seem funny after a few months) that they share when encouraged by a prompt like this. I know it's trendy to try to use Twitter to promote a company, but this attempt was a total fail!
:pacman:
When McDonald's(MCD_) began promoting the #McDStories hashtag Wednesday on Twitter, the idea was to get people talking about their experiences with the fast-food giant. And in that sense, it was a rousing success: The phrase exploded in popularity as Twitter users across the country shared stories of their visits to McDonald's. Unfortunately, McDonald's learned a harsh lesson in social media marketing: When you encourage people to talk about your company, they're not always going to say nice things.

Jack Dorsey on Twitter growing, learning
A little discussion about the growth of Twitter and some of the policies they have that could get an account suspended.

'Gangnam Style' Video Spoof Gets California Lifeguards Fired: Psy Song Parodies Mount on YouTube
This is ridiculous! Firing the lifeguards over a video is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of! The social media blunder here is on the part of the stupid public officials who over-reacted to a harmless video. Let your employees have a little fun and you build morale and they will work harder and get more done! Humorless bureaucrats suck the life out of everyone!

The great thing about being retired is that there's no need to worry about employers who think they have a right to tell you what to do during the time that you're not at work. The irony is that no one wants to watch pornography featuring "old" people anyways and so it doesn't really matter. If only there was a period during a person's lifetime in which it was possible to enjoy the vitality of youth, financial security, and freedom all at the same time! Alas, it twas never meant to be!
