Right to Rally: Putin defends protests, slams Clinton
If you ask me, Clinton should at least attempt to appear to be intelligent by keeping her half-witted opinions to herself. Would she be happier if the Communist Party won? They received the second highest number of votes. If she doesn't like Putin's party, how is she going to react to the more radical parties? Quite frankly, the current Russian government has more integrity than what we currently have here in the USA or have had for about a decade!
Vladimir Putin has called for the opposition to open dialogue saying they have every right to hold rallies - if they are held within the law. But the Prime Minister also pointed to signs of foreign influence in Russia's political life - calling that unacceptable.

Riot Wrong: FOX fakes Moscow protest with Athens clashes
It seems like our government and the media are working together to make Russia look bad. They did this back when Georgia attacked them back a couple years ago. Back then our media spun that incident as being initiated by Russia. The truth will come out in a few weeks, but you'll have to search for it!

It seems like our press played down the Occupy rallies and it seems like they're exaggerating the reaction to the election results in Russia. So much for fair and unbiased, but I think by now most people expect that the media puts a slant on events and that the slant always favors the agenda of the major corporations that own the media. You really must go to the internet to get alternative points of view, but it's also the case that it seems that most information sources have an agenda and sometimes it's clear what the agenda is and sometimes it isn't. Very few people are capable, it seems, of being objective, fair, rational, unbiased, etc.

Ждет ли Путина судьба Каддафи?
Here's a fun little video for you!
Here are a few of the phrases that appear in the video:
Из-за чего начались волнения? (What started these riots?)
Кому это выгодно? (Who does it profit?)
Причина не важна (The reason is not important.)
намеренная провокация (intentional provocation)
применение силы (use of force)
Кто сможет их купить? (Who can buy them?)
устройте переворот (arrange revolution)
Кто следующий? (Who is next?)

Fox news uses Athens riots footage for Russian protests
Fox tried to discredit the Occupy Protests in any way they could and now they are trying to exaggerate the extent of the protests in Russia. I'd be surprised if a fraction as many Russians protest their recent election as did Americans back in 2000 when Bush was elected. I'd also be surprised if the Russian protests even amount to a small fraction of the Occupy Protests. People are always mad following elections. Someone has to lose and many people don't take losing well. Duh!!! (But leave it to Fox News to try to make something out of nothing!)

USA News Reports Distort Source of Discontent in Russia
A friend who lives in Russia had this to say about protests following elections:
First of all.
No doubt this elections were unfair, electoral fraud.
People want just fair play and nothing more.
we need
No revolution
No unrest
No riots
We fed up with such things. '

The meeting was very peaceful and very funny.
Most people were highly educated and calm. There were a lot of Mathematical banners. ))) We were against of unfair counts, and teach election committee to count. the banners showed Gauss and his statistical analysis method and calculus, so called Normal distribution or Gauss distribution. This method shows what kind of electoral fraud we have and where it was exactly.

the CNN reporter said that internet calls this meeting "snow revolution". It's a bullshit no Russian wants revolution, so we can't call it Revolution. The only country which gives names is United States. BTW Russians have a lot of problems in calling(giving names) of different things.

we all understand that USA want make revolution in Russia as they had done it in Ukraine, Georgia, Egypt, Libya and other countries. So we should remain calm and not respond to provocation of the west and the US State Department. It was not brainless crowd, and anti-Putin propaganda did not work.
The stability in Russia was saved. That's good. Clinton and McCain wish to destabilize political situation in Russia, but we don't want it.

Most Russian people are NOT against Putin, Medvedev or anything else, they are only against electoral fraud.
The US want to show that this was anti-Putin protest. I can say NO WAY.

Russians Turn Out to Demand End of Putin Rule
If the information provided by Rusky Ed is correct, then the Associated Press is distorting the reality of what is happening in Russia. There seems to be no evidence that this rally was an anti-Putin rally and so I think that the reporters are stretching the facts just a little to fit an agenda.
Tens of thousands of people held the largest anti-government protests that post-Soviet Russia has ever seen to criticize electoral fraud and demand an end to Vladimir Putin's rule.

Obscene post on Medvedev Twitter account - Kremlin blames technical mishap
I've seen a few different versions of what exactly was tweeted by Dmitry Medvedev. One said something about a cock in the face and another used the term f*ckface. The article below gives a slightly different version. I'm wondering if anyone knows the correct translation since apparently it wasn't in English. Otherwise, why would there be so many different versions of what he said? The chances of an incorrect translation are fairly high. Anyone recall the "reset button" fiasco?
The post was a re-tweet from the blog of businessman and United Russia party member Konstantin Rykov and was posted late on Tuesday as Moscow saw a second day of protests against alleged electoral fraud by the United Russia party at last Sunday’s parliamentary polls. “If a person writes in his blog ‘The Party of Swindlers and Thieves,’ he’s just a c**ksucking moron,” Rykov said.

Kremlin red faces over Medvedev Twitter malfunction
Here's a little more on Medvedev's errant tweet. Of course, the official claim from the Kremlin is that Medvedev didn't actually send the tweet. Someone else had access to his account and that someone else sent the tweet, but be that as it may, apparently the obscenity was just a common Russian phrase as common as saying WTF in English. Also calling someone a sheep in Russian is similar to calling someone a jackass in English.
The offending message was posted on the account of Konstantin Rykov, an MP from the ruling United Russia party, on Tuesday night. It roughly translated as: "Today it became obvious that if somebody writes the phrase 'party of swindlers and thieves' on a blog, he is a stupid [obscenity] sheep."

New Jersey Nets Owner Mikhail Prokhorov To Run Against Vladimir Putin for President of Russia
It would probably be a waste of money to challenge Putin, but this guy might have an ego like Trump and so it might be something he's just gonna do!
