Herman Cain stages mock presidential rally with comedian Steve Colbert... and draws bigger crowds than real candidates
If nothing more, the primaries provide lots of good comedy material to work with!!! :pacman:
Thousands have flocked to watch a fake presidential rally held by comedian Steve Colbert and one-time Republican presidential frontrunner Herman Cain in Charleston, South Carolina. And in an interesting twist, the crowd, comprised mostly of students, was far larger audience than any at an actual rally during this year's election cycle in the state.

TURTLE HUNT

Colbert Super PAC Super Fun Pack
Here's an interesting contest. Apparently The Colbert Report has hidden a silver turtle somewhere in these United States as part of a promotion for the Colbert Super PAC. Anyone who orders a Colbert Super PAC Super Fun Pack will receive a treasure map which provides clues to the location of this turtle-shaped bell thing.
Each kit features a decoder ring, secret clues, elaborate ciphers, and a map to find a hidden treasure. That treasure? A sense of accomplishment and a 101-year-old sterling silver antique turtle which, when touched, makes a beautiful chime. It's far superior to a 101-year-old actual turtle that, when touched, gives you 101-year-old salmonella. Whichever Super PAC Super Founder super-finds it first will also get a visit to their college campus by a man famous for his many television and email-newsletter appearances: Stephen T. Colbert.

Mating Turtles Fossilized in the Act
What better way for them to have spent their last moments alive on this miserable planet! :smoker:
German scientists have just reported an extraordinary discovery: the first known pairs of mating vertebrate fossils. And along with the thrill of a fossil first comes another possible breakthrough. The 47-million-year-old turtle remains offer clues to how a prehistoric lake became one of the world’s richest fossil troves.

Colbert skewers Texas GOP on ‘critical thinking’
Colbert did a great job of calling out the Texas GOP on this one!!! :laughingx2:
I’m here to tell you now the Texas GOP is on to you, critical thinking skills! They know that you have quote the purpose of challenging the students’ fixed beliefs, and a good teacher’s job is to maintain whatever fixed beliefs a student has when they enter first grade.
