Palin Has Harsh Words for Obama in Iowa
This lady epitomizes everything that is bad about America. It's amazing that a nitwit like her can characterize anyone as incompetent. As I recall she's the incompetent leader who stepped down as governor of Alaska! In fact, the best thing she ever did was realize that she was incapable of being an effective governor and then resigning. Now if she'd just STFU already!!!

Something Crazy This Way Comes: Top GOP presidential hopeful Rick Perry visits Bakersfield Friday
CRAZY ALERT: Yeah, he's likely to be the next president of the USA if the republicans get their way. It's embarrassing, but that's the direction this country is headed! It kind of figures that he'd wind up in Bakersfield!
:laughingx2:
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, one of the top contenders for the 2012 Republican nomination for president, brought his conservative, tax-cutting, regulation-cutting, anti-Obama message to Bakersfield Friday.
Perry spoke at a fundraising breakfast at the Bakersfield Jam Center. He was the guest of Bakersfield Jam owner and businessman Stan Ellis, who organized the fundraiser.

New Sarah Palin Book Alleges Fetish For Black Men, Extra-Marital Affair & Cocaine Use!
I don't think I'll waste my money on this book, but I'm sure it's a lot better than the book Palin wrote about herself!

At Tea Party debate, alarming applause for the death of the uninsured
They really might be fascists and that's not exaggerating in the least! :curse:
The low point in last night’s Republican presidential debate came not from anyone on stage, but from a handful in the audience who cheered at the notion of letting a sick man without insurance die without care. The moment came when Ron Paul, the libertarian candidate, was asked who should pay the bill when a young man arrives at a hospital in a coma.

New Experiment Shows Rats Have more Empathy than the Tea Party
The average tea bagger has about half the brains of the average rat and so it's no surprise that they show a number of deficits when compared to the lowly rodent!
:funny:
The underlying assumption that cuts without the creation of jobs will cure our economic woes is false. Without money circulating in the economy, there is a lesser economy. Financially and most certainly morally these extreme partisan decisions are not sound, but they do garner votes within the Republican base.

Subculture of Americans prepares for civilization's collapse
Interesting article. While a collapse of the government is unlikely, it is interesting to consider what life after such a collapse would be like.
They are following in the footsteps of hippies in the 1960s who set up communes to separate themselves from what they saw as a materialistic society, and the survivalists in the 1990s who were hoping to escape the dictates of what they perceived as an increasingly secular and oppressive government. Preppers, though are, worried about no government.
