Glenn Beck and FOX -- it's over!
He may be leaving Fox, but he's starting his own network. It's hard to believe that a nutjob like Beck has that many followers, but apparently he is the spokesperson for a certain fringe element of society.

Does The Constitution Still Matter?
The Constitution is relentlessly secular, which flew in the face of what was happening in the world when it was written. The founders knew that religion should stay out of politics, but the Tea Party has no clue!

Michele Bachmann Signs Vows To Eliminate All Forms Of Pornography!
Apparently this fascist doesn't believe in free speech! There's no way any one who is actually a libertarian could vote for someone like this! This is craziness beyond anything that should even be possible in the land of the free! BTW, Gary Johnson has decided not to sign the "Iowa Pledge" (the document Bachmann signed vowing to fight free speech and porn). Here's a link to the Gary Johnson interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KJ4BPLhn5g

Ron Paul has some surprising news for the Tea Party:
You’re being taken for a ride.
At least this is what many libertarians like Ron Paul believe when they see someone like Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin trying to lead the Tea Party at the “restoring honor” rally this weekend. In fact, Ron Paul believes, if you’re looking for real freedom, you should really go back to the core of the constitution and the bill of rights, which Beck and Palin do not fully endorse when you really look at their beliefs. Whether it be Palin’s support for starting more wars or Beck’s beliefs on paying the private Federal Reserve MORE interest on our money by means of a VAT tax.
Ron Paul believes in neither of the above.
Here was Ron Paul’s message to the Tea Party via The New York Times just the other day:
“As many frustrated Americans who have joined the Tea Party realize, we cannot stand against big government at home while supporting it abroad. We cannot talk about fiscal responsibility while spending trillions on occupying and bullying the rest of the world. We cannot talk about the budget deficit and spiraling domestic spending without looking at the costs of maintaining an American empire of more than 700 military bases in more than 120 foreign countries. We cannot pat ourselves on the back for cutting a few thousand dollars from a nature preserve or an inner-city swimming pool at home while turning a blind eye to a Pentagon budget that nearly equals those of the rest of the world combined.”
While the Tea Party will be out supporting Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin this weekend, you wonder how many of them will be in full support of more wars and paying more interest to a group of untouchable and unauditable private bankers otherwise known as the FED? This is precisely what Ron Paul is asking the American public to consider when looking at the Tea Party leaders and see if they really stand for what they believe in.
Ron Paul believes the Tea Party is not about “left” or “right” like a lot of political pundits make it out to be. It’s about the constitution, and limited government.

Boehner’s truth allergy
This guy seems willing to destroy the country in order to make Obama look bad. What's this guy's problem? :nono:
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) looked pretty small last night, delivering a weak speech that inadvertently bolstered all of President Obama’s arguments about GOP intransigence. But for me, the most striking thing about Boehner’s address wasn’t the weak content and poor delivery; it was his breathtaking dishonesty. If one were to create a drinking game in which viewers took a shot every time the Speaker lied, the “winner” would be in the hospital this morning with alcohol poisoning.

Some Random Comments Regarding the Pronunciation of Boeher's Name:
1. The pronunciation of John Boehner's last name?
where else in the english language is 'oe' pronounced as an 'a' sound? Who is this drunken carrot trying to fool?

2. "oe" is the same as "ö" in German and would be pronounced "Berner". However, in the U.S. it's pronounced "Bοner" and means "dick".

3. Some people actually have names in languages other than English that are pronounced in the original language. Ask Jose if you don't believe me.

4. It's of German derivation and the oe combination is equivalent to o-umlaut. "bayner" is the correct pronunciation.

5. Undoubtedly eliciting countless giggles in high school Civics classrooms nationwide, the Congressman's surname is correctly pronounced "BAY-ner." Though—fittingly—its phonetic pronunciation is a colloquial term for an erection of the male reproductive organ.

The Queen of Rage
Great picture of this crazy lady! It definitely captures her true essence! :yup:
Bachmann has to somehow explain how she can be against government spending, while using her power as member of Congress to get $260,000 in federal dairy and corn subsidies for her family farm. Apparently assistance and government subsidies are okay for Bachmann to get, but not those Americans who are elderly, poor, disabled, or unemployed Seems Bachmann's husband doesn't have a problem with collecting money from insurance companies and medicare to "wish away" homosexuality. Hypocrites!! Does she reject her Senate paycheck or her Foster Care Subsidy checks

Ron Paul is more tea party than the tea party. This video is so true. Nobody wants to acknowledge Ron Paul even exists.

"How did Libertarian Ron Paul become the 13th floor in a hotel? What's wrong with? He is Tea Party patient zero. All that small government grass roots business? He planted that grass! "

Willie Nelson retracts Johnson endorsement
Willie Nelson would back Kucinich over Johnson! That's probably because Kucinich comes closer to being a true libertarian than any of the other candidates including Ron Paul! Of course, Kucinich isn't actually a candidate at this time, but he is mentioned as a hypothetical candidate in this video!

The Tea Party is the Enemy – Make no Apologies
Liberals do tend to be a little too nice, but at the same time I think some liberals are as annoying as are members of the Tea Party movement. Extremists are always out of touch with reality and it doesn't matter if we're talking extreme liberal or extreme conservative, people with dogmatic and narrow-minded beliefs are just plain annoying and potentially dangerous should they become elected into a political position, IMHO.
Liberals tend to apologize for their outbursts. We even apologize for defending ourselves against some very unreasonable attacks from Republicans. Conservatives know that and like any form of predator take full advantage. Almost every time you see a liberal blast a conservative figure or activity, some conservative will announce they are outraged by the allegations or lack of civility and next thing you know, the liberal is apologizing and the conservative is smiling smugly for getting away with another one. Our political discourse has been shaped by these types of exchanges for a decade. It has to change, and it seems to be changing, since the popular revolutions in Wisconsin and Michigan, and even nationally, to judge from recent outbursts by members of the Congressional Black Caucus. California Rep. Howard Dean set the stage on Face the Nation in early August by saying, “I think this is a tea party problem, I think they are totally unreasonable, and doctrinaire and not founded in reality, I think they’ve been smoking some of that tea and not just drinking it…”
