A lot of people are claiming the shootings were done on purpose to time with upcoming firearm legislation.

Correction: A lot of GUN NUTS are claiming the shootings were done on purpose to time with upcoming firearm legislation. The only person who planned this event was the shooter and I'm sure that firearm legislation wasn't a consideration!

Michael Moore's Question For President Obama After Colorado Shooting
IMHO, we should be very cautious about making any laws which diminish our 2nd Amendment rights!

People who push gun control are as annoying as gun nuts! Moore is a fanatic when it comes to gun control. He should probably go live somewhere else, but same goes for the fanatical gun nuts out there!

Gun Control: 86% Of Americans Support Requiring Buyers To...
Limited gun control makes sense and that's what this guy is talking about, but most states already have limited gun control and so it would be more accurate to say that most Americans support existing gun control laws!

Like I said, gun nuts are just as annoying as people who want to push gun control. There is no conspiracy to take "small arms" away from the A'merican people! Gun nuts almost always turn out to be conspiracy nuts!

When self defense laws don't work
On the one hand, it sounds like this guy didn't need to shoot and kill the man he was arguing with. On the other hand, it sounds like he wasn't guilty of first degree murder and shouldn't have been given a life sentence. It sounds like it was a heat of the moment situation and so ten years in prison would seem appropriate since it doesn't sound like there was premeditation.
