Record Breaking Heat Wave, Storms Blamed for 17 Deaths, Power Outages in D.C.
Nashville with 109??? Wow! The highest high we've had so far is 105! Of course, it's going to get a whole lot hotter in the weeks to come!!!

What's up with Trona? High of 91 low of 71 forecast. Sounds like it's going to be a beautiful day. I always thought it was supposed to be blazing hot here.

Our Record-Breaking Summer: A Glimpse of Global Warming and Climate Change
Last year was wetter than average and this year is dryer than normal. The fluctuations are normal. If we see an actual trend, then there's something to this global warming stuff, but so far all we see is normal fluctuations and that's nothing to get all excited about.

T-shorms in T-town? OMG!!!
he Weather Service also is predicting a 20 to 30 percent chance of thunder storms as early as Wednesday night and extending through the rest of the week for both Ridgecrest and Trona.
