Some people cope with stress well and some need medicinal aids to help them. My guess is that Obama is one of those people with boundless energy who has no need for stimulants, but I could be wrong.

Obama's one of those ambitious people who are extremely motivated to achieve. My guess would be that he doesn't need stimulants. Usually people who rely on stimulants have a major medical problem by the time they're 40 and Obama will be 50 in a few months. Considering that he smokes, he's in awfully good shape. Most likely he's a very light smoker.

Police find meth lab; two arrested (PAHRUMP)
This article includes a pretty good list of the ingredients and equipment needed to manufacture methamphetamine. :up2:
“The items from the meth lab included all of the necessary equipment to conduct the pseudoephedrine extraction process,” a Nye County Sheriff’s Office press release stated. These items included a hotplate, distilled water, gas line antifreeze, a powder stained blender and coffee pot and a large amount of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine. Pseudoephedrine is one of the main ingredients used in the making of methamphetamine. Detectives also “discovered multiple packages of methamphetamine, methamphetamine pipes, and a variety of controlled pharmaceutical pills such as Clonezapam and Amphetamine capsules,” according to the press release. Other items found in the home included “funnels, Drano, Iodine Crystals, coffee filters stained with Red Phosphorous and a large amount of what is known as ‘Binder’, which is the waste left behind from the Pseudoephedrine extraction process,” the press release stated.

Do We Need Even Tighter Controls on Sudafed?
I've heard that 90% of people caught committing crimes wear underwear too and so maybe the government should keep track of who purchases underwear too! I'm sick of our freedoms being restricted over these public safety issues. Hold people responsible for committing REAL CRIMES responsible and leave the rest of us alone!!!
:mad002:
Amateur meth labs are really, really terrible. They explode. They infuse the walls, and maybe the local water supply, with toxic chemicals. They pose a serious threat to cops and firefighters, not to mention occupants of the houses they're in. And decontamination seems to be rather daunting. The problem of meth labs has resulted in ever-increasing controls over the purchase of pseudoephedrine, aka the main ingredient in Sudafed. That's why the stuff on the shelves is now called Sudafed PE, and to get the real stuff, you have to go to the counter and sign a book.

How to synthesize Sudafed from crystal meth
I haven't purchased any cold medicine for awhile and so I don't know if it's really all that hard to buy it, but it is kind of funny to think that meth would be easier to buy than cold medicine and that people would actually reverse the usual process just to obtain some cold medicine. This is all a joke (note the name of the authors of the "article"), but it is the kind of situation the anti-drug gestapo would create with their obsession over recreational drugs!
:smack:
Are you at your wits end over how hard it is to get your hands on some decent decongestant these days? The fact that Sudafed can be used to produce N-Methylamphetamine (aka crystal meth) has made the act of purchasing the stuff seem next-to-impossible as of late. The cold medicine has become so highly regulated that it almost seems like it would be easier to get your hands on some actual meth, and reverse-synthesize the "over-the-counter" drug for yourself.

Meth-Head Woman Burns Down One Of Earth's Oldest Trees
Why do bad things happen to good trees?
:curse:
Sara Barnes was arrested after admitting she set The Senator, a 118-foot, 3,500-year-old bald cypress tree, afire the night of January 16 in Longwood, Florida. Barnes, who admitted she was smoking meth with a friend at the time, said she lit the ancient tree on fire so that she could see in the dark, but couldn't stop it from spreading.
