Try Not To Be So Stupid When does a protest become a riot? The answer to that question should be pretty obvious, but it is common for riots to be called "mostly peaceful protests" by the news media. Obviously, when property is damaged or streets are blocked we are no longer dealing with a mere protest. The right to protest does not allow for the destruction of property or for pretesters to deprive other citizens of the right to move through an area without obstruction. Although protesters do have the right to express their opinions, they do not have the right to force others to listen to their opinions. The more serious concern is that most large scale protests in the USA have been in regards to issues not worth protesting over, with the "Fentanyl Floyd" protests a few years ago and the current Anti-ICE protests being perfect examples. |

Lyrics:
Why even bother to complain
What do you do when you don't have a clue?
Why fly the flag of the country you left?
Try hard not to be a nuisance |
