There have been lots of lies told during the time that humans have inhabited the Earth. Making a list of the most convincing liars and the biggest liars of all time would be an enormous undertaking. So many lies have been told and often the consequences have been disastrous. Then again some lies have been necessary to avoid bad outcomes. So, do we judge a lie by the outcome, its inventiveness, the boldness and audacity of its teller, or what? Inducting individuals into a Liars Hall of Fame would be a difficult process. The list of liars is so long that it might take ages to decide who should be included and so in the meantime we have the song and video embedded on this web page. Here a top ten list of liars is proposed and although it's offered in jest it at least provides a jumping off point for someone who wants to put in the time and search through the history books and accounts of current events to propose a more authoritative list of the World's Greatest Liars!
