Although many people like pudding, it is doubtful that many people would claim it as their favorite dessert. Of course, that's not surprising since it's competing against all sorts of tasty treats including pie, brownies, cookies, ice cream, cake, and fudge. That said, it might be interesting to consider what flavor of pudding is the most preferred over all the rest. There's quite a list to consider: banana, tapioca, rice, chocolate, vanilla, chia, butterscotch, etc. Complicating things, there are desserts which are very similar to pudding including mousses, custards, bread pudding, creme brulee, and most likely a few others. So, although pudding in general might not be in the top ten favorite dessert list, it is likely that most people enjoy it in one form or another every now and then.
