Sometimes it's hard not to laugh even when a joke might be slightly offensive or disrespectful. Even retelling such a joke isn't always inapproprite providing that the joke is sufficiently funny and that it isn't too extreme. For that matter, if a funny idea pops into one's mind and one works it into a joke, it's pretty hard to resist sharing it with other people. In fact, it may be unreasonable to expect people not to create and/or share jokes which are of questionable taste. So, with all that in mind was it wrong of President Trump to share the AI generated image of himself wearing a pope hat? Was it too soon after the previous pope's death?
