You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then
you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

      A hypocrite is someone who applies rules of conduct inconsistently, especially as the rules pertain to oneself versus others. YouTube indulges in blatant hypocrisy as a matter of habit. Although there may be thousands of videos which blatantly violate some guideline defining acceptable content, specific videos which don't actually even violate the guideline will be in some way penalized. Even worse, often paid advertisements will be allowed which clearly violate the same guidelines and yet a harmless video will be singled out and targeted with some sort of adverse action. Whether this is the way YouTube retaliates against individuals who express views which are contrary to YouTube's political agenda or whether it's just a matter of suppressing certain types of content is difficult to say, but the pattern is undeniable and quite possibly a form of discrimination.
