The Onion and The Babylon Bee are known for humorously crazy headlines, but sometimes real headlines can be every bit as crazy as fictional headlines intentionally designed to seem ridiculous or bizarre. It's a cliche to say that reality is often stranger than fiction, but there's little doubt that the saying is true. In fact, it's probably fair to say that it's become increasingly true in recent years. There's too much craziness to discuss here, but suffice it to say that what used to be considered the lunatic fringe is now pretty much normal. Will things continue to become crazier or crazier or will the pendulum reach one extreme and start it's long slow trip back to the opposite side?
