This video simply features a bunch of pigeons I saw on a trip down to Los Angeles. These guys actually flew into the building and walked around eating crumbs of food that had somehow managed to wind up on the floor. The people I was eating with tossed some pieces of fortune cookie onto the floor for the pigeons and that gave me the idea for this video. Actually I am positively predisposed towards birds of any kind and so I don't really regard the pigeons in this video as dirty birds, but I decided to write the song from the point of view of a character who sees them as filthy and disease-ridden, just to spice things up a bit. Songs about how nice and wonderful things are tend to be boring, but songs which put a sarcastic or negative spin on things tend to be a bit more interesting and potentially humorous.
