Notchleaf Phacelia

Although poison oak does not grow in the Death Valley area, there is another plant that is fairly prevalent in the area that can cause dermatitis, at least in some people. For this reason it is best to avoid physical contact with Notchleaf Phacelia. One of the more descriptive alternate common names for this plant is scorpionweed, which is especially appropriate since the small flowers form in clusters that are coiled in a manner that is reminiscent of the tail of a scorpion. Formerly this plant was a member of the Waterleaf Family (Hydrophyllaceae), but it has been reclassified and is now a member of the Borage Family (Boraginaceae). Hot Wads of Cheese

The lyrics for the song featured in this video appear in the chapter called "Marshmallow Cheese" from Evil Willie. The song is intended to be a promotional jingle for a product that had not yet been created, but which the band members who wrote the song thought would have a potential for confectionery success. Evil Willie rejects the idea and declares that he's the candy-making genius in the room and that the band should stick to playing songs which promote products that already exist.

Exercise Videos

Although there is a lot of junk on YouTube, there are also many informative and useful videos. For instance, there are a ton of videos that present hints and tips on how to stay in shape. The embedded video provides good pointers on how to keep your knees in good working condition. However, if you are experiencing knee problems, then these exercises may be too difficult and, as you might expect, there are a lot of videos for those currently experiencing knee pain. There are also videos with exercise tips for seniors. Click here for a video that demonstrates some basic leg stretches.
