Lesson Fifteen: Decimal Review

Lining up the decimals and subtracting just like you do with whole numbers is the best way to approach the subtraction of decimal values. 


              .55		.83
            - .43             - .12
           -------           -------
              .12               .71


              .47               .69
            - .35             - .37
           -------           -------
              .12               .32
Once you line up the decimals, the rest is just subraction as usual. 

        .33 - .22 = .11		.45 - .22 = .23

        .45 - .13 = .32		.99 - .10 = .89
