Here are some fractions equivalent to one:


    4/4			5/5			100/100

    6/6			12/12			50/50

    1/1			3/3			10/10

In short, any fraction containing the same value in the numerator and the denominator is equivalent to one.

So, the answers to each of the following equations is one!


    2/3 + 1/3 = 		1/7 + 6/7 =

    3/4 + 1/4 = 		2/5 + 3/5 =

    2/9 + 7/9 = 		3/8 + 5/8 =

So, having said this, it should not be difficult to answer these problems:


    2/3 + ___ = 1		1/7 + ___ = 1

    3/4 + ___ = 1		2/5 + ___ = 1

    2/9 + ___ = 1		3/8 + ___ = 1
