Color Words
Here is a list of the standard colors:

You can't really get by with just these words. More words are needed. Here
are some examples:

Using exact color names is a way of helping readers to visualize what you
are writing about.

You may have never heard of "lapis blue" and so here's an example of a car
which is, according to the manufacturer, lapis blue. This car belongs to the
author of this lesson and he is tired of people teasing him about owning a
purple Jeep. The color of this Jeep is much closer to blue than it is to
purple! |
