Root Words

A couple words on the spelling list can be combined with a prefix to make a new word. You may be able to think of a few others. 


         re + train = retrain

         re + water  = rewater
You should be able to identify the root word in any word with a prefix. Here are a few examples: 

         whole word		root word

           rematch		  match
           encourage		  courage
           uneven		  even
           untidy		  tidy
